The R3 5900 gives operators a highly versatile, lightweight pack that can execute light-and-fast, one-day missions in Bivy Mode or instantly extend into a multi-day pack capable of five days by deploying the expandable 2,500 cubic inch load shelf. Integrating the R3 Side Bags further extends the 5900’s capabilities for extended missions that require more equipment or bulkier cold-weather gear.

The redesigned R3 5900 includes a top Velcro access for a radio antenna or comms cable, two internal Velcro loop patches for the SG Cordura Camp Pocket or other modular storage, and a side stretch pocket for quick external storage. The 5900 also integrates with the color-coded buckles on the R3 Frame to quickly attach and separate the bag from the frame to utilize the 2,500 cubic inch load shelf for added volume capabilities. A heavy weapon system with multiple positioning options is integrated into the frame for secure-and-supported carry of long-range large calibers with large optics.

R3 Bags are only compatible with the R3 Frame.
