This is a vintage 80's Eddie Bauer Puffer vest. When it comes to the history of the down puffer jacket it all begun back in 1936, when Eddie Bauer introduced the Skyliner jacket. The jacket was made of down feathers within quilted fabric and was an invention that mr Bauer came up with after nearly losing his life to hypothermia during a mid winter fishing trip. Ever since, the down puffer jacket has proven to be the best protection against extreme cold weather. The combination of a light weight jacket, a durable windproof shell fabric and the insulation quality of down makes the jacket superb as protective outerwear in cold climates. Up to this day the down puffer jacket has remained the best option for a lightweight jacket to be worn in extremely cold climates.

Eddie Bauer became well known for producing functional outdoor clothing and this vest is a good example of it. We estimate it to be from the 80's and it is a perfect vest to wear as a warming layer.

The vest is vintage but in great condition. It has no size marking but fits like an XS for women.
